A. Brekke Law Group delivers high-level legal counsel with a distinctly business-minded approach. Our founder is the rare attorney who has also served as President of a leading consumer products company — which means our advice comes with real operational context, not just legal theory.
Most outside counsel can review a contract or advise on a dispute. Fewer can walk into a conversation about your supply chain, lease renewal, or vendor relationship with the fluency that only comes from having run the business yourself.
Zander has managed vendor relationships, negotiated commercial leases, overseen compliance programs, and led a business through growth, crisis, and turnaround. Every piece of advice this firm gives is evaluated through both a legal and a business lens — because one without the other is never enough.
No hand-offs to associates who don't know your business. Every engagement is handled directly by the firm's founder — which means faster responses, fewer misunderstandings, and advice that reflects an accumulated understanding of your situation over time.
Our goal is to be your first call when an issue surfaces — not your last resort after it has escalated. We help clients identify and address legal risk before it becomes a crisis, through practical risk assessments, contract templates, and compliance planning.
After managing outside counsel for years as an executive, Zander built this firm around a principle: excellent legal counsel should be accessible at reasonable cost. We offer flat-rate, fixed-fee, and hourly structures — with clear cost expectations before work begins.
A. Brekke Law Group delivers high-level legal counsel with a distinctly business-minded approach, serving entrepreneurs, professionals, executives, and in-house legal teams who need pragmatic solutions to complex challenges.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia, Zander Brekke holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. He began his legal career in private practice, where he advised clients on commercial litigation, corporate transactions, and risk mitigation strategies.
He later served as General Counsel for a leading consumer products company, where he expanded his role to President. In that capacity, Zander oversaw legal, human resources, sales, distribution, compliance, and all aspects of day-to-day business operations — gaining deep insight into the realities and demands of leading a high-growth organization through various phases of the corporate lifecycle.
His operational experience includes multiple successful turnarounds involving recovery from crises as varied as operational challenges, global supply chain distress, and cyberattacks.
This blend of legal training and executive leadership uniquely positions A. Brekke Law Group to act as a strategic partner for companies navigating legal complexity while driving business growth — as well as those navigating crisis while restoring stability. Zander understands that legal decisions don't exist in a vacuum. They impact people, operations, and profitability. His counsel is grounded in practical, business-first thinking.
